A Case of Allergic Contack Dermatitis to Laureth 9

Abstract

|
Laureth 9 is a nonionic surfactant and it is used as a sclerosing agent in the treatment of esophageal and gastric varices and a local anesthetics.
We report a 20-year-old male patients presenting with features of allergic contact dermatitis due to laureth 9 used in the oxoralen ointment. (Kor J Dermatol 1993 ; 31 (1) : 95-98)
